The time has finally come for us to announce the new Exen Esports CS:GO roster!
The new players joining Exen Esports are as following Youssef ’Juissi’ Adam, Santeri ’Kide’ Koponen, Veeti ’S1rva’ Sirva, and Mikael ’Mikzuuu’ Selander. And last but definitely not least, of course we couldn’t let go of our original and lovely team captain Jere ‘Jezkuee’ Koskinen.
We were lucky to catch a comment from the team captain, the one and only, Jezkuee:
“I see a lot of potential in this roster, and finally I’m the tallest in the team! Can’t wait to be able to get to know the guys more during our bootcamp, which we will have soon.“
We are happy to also welcome our new CS:GO Manager, Tuomas Rautava.
Tuomas is not new in the Finnish esports scene; he started his career working for the Oulu-based football club JS Hercules’ esports organization. There his responsibilities revolved around coaching young CS:GO players, as well as planning educational contented aimed for the youth regarding esports. From there he was asked to help bring Nyyrikki Esports back to the Finnish CS scene. This project launched his managerial career in the world of esports. With Nyyrikki they were able to bring one of their lineups to the top 8 of the Telia Esports Series. We are so excited to have Tuomas with us, to help bring our CS:GO roster to the top of the Finnish teams.
We asked Tuomas for a comment regarding joining Exen Esports and the new roster:
“I was flattered when Exen Esports contacted me regarding a new CS:GO project. I have heard so many good things about Exen, so I was more than excited to join the project. With a lot of hard work, we were able to build a powerful, hungry, and potential lineup around Jezkuee. I am looking forward to this new year of 2021, and especially the next ESEA season and the Elisa Nordic Championships.
I fully believe that with hard training this lineup has the chance to raise to be one of the top Finnish teams. We already provided some great preview during the Elisa Nordic Championship qualifiers, where we were able to bring down some big-named Finnish lineups.
This is going to be an amazing year, that’s for sure!“
