Where do you come from?
I currently live in Suonenjoki, originally I come from Porvoo, where I have lived most of my life. I've pretty much traveled between Porvoo and Suonenjoki my whole life.
Why JYP?
JYP turned out to be the best choice after black became a free agent. There are familiar players in the team and I have played with them earlier in my career (Symphony).
How long have you been playing?
I have been playing the NHL since -04 and I started playing the EASHL at the time of NLH 11 and 6v6, as I remember, NHL 13. In other words, the EASHL has been played for about 8-9 years.
Where would you like to be in the future?
For the sake of my playing career, I'll probably continue for a while, and after that I'll probably just play for fun.
Why the NHL?
I have always been interested in hockey and liked NHL games since I was young.
Do you have experience in the sport as a player?
I have never played hockey in any team, but there has always been a lot to watch (NHL, World Cup, etc.).
How do you prepare for games? How much of the opponent should be observed / scouted before the game?
I don't prepare for the games in any special way, 1-2 warm-up matches before the tournament games are enough.
How many drivers go during the season?
I've been playing with the same controller for a while now, probably about a year. In general, there have been no other problems with the controllers, except that the left stick has sometimes broken.
How many game hours will there be per week?
Now in the off-season I almost don't play at all, but usually about 1 hour in the evenings (Mon-Thurs) and sometimes on weekends, so probably about 10 hours, max 15 hours.
How is the psychological side, are there any pressures? Is it different to play the so-called at a public event than at home?
I've been playing these games for so long that there's not a lot of pressure. At the public event for the first time, I was a little nervous at the beginning, but I would say that not anymore these days.
How many hours do you train as a team?
From Monday to Thursday, its 2 hours per day has been a fairly standard set.
Do you have a role model or idol?
I don't have any so-called idol right now. There were many hockey and soccer players when I was young.
Where does your nickname come from? Is there some kind of story behind it?
When I was young, I told my friends that they should rather call me Jouki than "Jokkek", so that's how it started. "Joukki" was taken, of course, so I needed a couple more i's...
